So, here’s a thought. Why, if you were a dutiful Adobe employee, would you waste countless days and weeks creating what could very well be the next big iPad app, only to deem it a concept and never actually promise a real release? Exactly. During the 2011 edition of Photoshop World, a bigwig from the company took the stage in order to showcase what could soon be possible with Photoshop on-the-go, and if you’ve been wowed by the powers of Photoshop Express, you’ll be utterly floored by what Adobe has been able to do here. The wildest part, in our estimation, is the absence of stuttering when manipulating multiple images and applying filters, but then again, they may be working with a pixel-optimized set of shots (versus a full-size RAW, for example) in this particular demo. As we said, no one’s even confirming that this has any hope of breaching reality, but we’re going ahead and making the outlandish assumption that Adobe’s not just wasting our (and its own) time by showcasing this in public. It isn’t available from the official Firefox website yet, but Firefox 4 is now available to download from the Mozilla releases FTP server. Update: you can hit a random FTP mirror by using these links: Windows / Mac OS X / Linux. Update 2: Firefox 4 has now officially launched.
Despite what we reported last week, there was an unexpected (and unannounced) RC2 released on March 18. The final release build seems to have followed quickly after on Saturday, March 19. The official launch of Firefox 4 is due tomorrow.
Firefox 4 brings with it a slew of new features, including, most notably, a completely overhauled user interface that makes it look a lot like Chrome, but hardware acceleration and the jet-powered JaegerMonkey JavaScript engine also jostle for center stage. In true Mozilla style, Firefox 4 also brings support for many emerging standards, such as HTML5, CSS3 and WebGL. Finally, there are neat features like built-in Sync, restartless add-ons, and workspace management with Panorama.

Update: Mozilla has asked us to say that this might not turn out to be the actual final build. It’s still going through QA right now, and something might come up. Don’t worry though: your browser will automatically update if a new build is released.
There are also some exciting goodies planned for tomorrow, and Mozilla doesn’t want us to satisfy your Firefox 4 hunger just yet. Basically, if you want to enjoy the ‘true Firefox 4′ experience (including the pretty first-run splash screen), you should hold off installing until it’s released tomorrow.

Hetal Dave, a 170-centimeter, 23-year-old Brahmin Marwari seems far from the image of an obese sumo wrestler but she is strong, well-built and extremely focused.
In between push-up rounds at Oval Maidan she explains that sumo wrestling is not just about weight.
“It’s a game of concentration and every fraction of a second matters,” says Dave.
With no professional sumo ring to practice in, a quiet corner of the Oval is her daily haunt, where she hones her skills as a pro wrestler.
“It’s strange sometimes to practice here, as people stop, stand and just stare,” she says.
Dave’s interest in sumo stems from judo, which she’s been practicing since the age of six when her father enrolled her in classes.

It’s Femme Fatale’s arrival day and Britney Spears lovers couldn’t be more excited to have the singer release her seventh studio album. When MTV News caught up with a number of her fans in San Francisco on Sunday, where Spears was taping her performance for “Good Morning America” — which airs Tuesday (March 29) — they revealed why they were looking forward to this new chapter in the pop star’s dynamic career.
Camille Burgess explained, “We grew up listening to her songs and she will always be amazing.” Her pal Stephanie Griffin added, “She’s unstoppable!”
Sarah explained that Spears’ spirit is why fans will certainly scoop up copies of the singer’s latest, which features production from Dr. Luke and Max Martin, as well as collaborations with artists like will.i.am. “Britney’s back but she sealed the deal … everything!” she gushed. “She’s feisty! She never gives up!”
Femme Fatale is a nonstop party album, complete with sexy beats, Britney’s signature cooing singing style and lots of references to wanting to get busy with hot dudes. “I’ve heard a couple of songs and I have to say it’s definitely amazing … She knows what she’s doing,” Thomas explained. “And I think she’s definitely going to have some surprises up her sleeve this next album … The entertainment power she has, the way she flaunts herself onstage, she’s not afraid to be different. It’s inspiring to me.”
Randi mirrors Thomas’ feelings on why fans have stuck with the singer through her ups and downs and are just as excited as ever for this latest release. “Why do we love her? She’s awesome,” said Randi. “She’s an influence on everything. No matter what she does she’s always going to be sexy.”

“Big Brother” TV Phenomenon – Lowering Society’s Values
The so-called television reality shows such as “Big Brother” are catering to those in our society who prefer to “dumb-down” their intelligence. And just look at the size of the audience that programs like this command.
This is actually very good news for those of us who detest trash like this. Why? With so many people committing themselves to this farcical nonsense it leaves a relatively small percentage who prefer to do something to improve their knowledge and intelligence.
While all the others are absorbed in the pathetic, crude and oftentimes vulgar behavior served up to us by the television moguls as “entertainment,” those of us who refuse to be duped can be doing so many other worthwhile things, such as:
Any of the above are far more worthy pursuits than watching a bunch of talentless miscreants engaging in voyeuristic gutter behavior.
In case, I haven’t made myself clear – yes, I DETEST moronic television chaff like “Big Brother.” There are many other similar asinine television offerings but BB, as it is so affectionately referred to, in my opinion, is the most insidious. It is almost like a template for ratbag behavior – something that the world certainly does not need!
As far as entertainment value goes BB is about as puerile as it can get. One can only assume that the intent of this particular show is to feed the voyeuristic nature of society. What amazes me is the fact that so many people look forward to watching these D-grade wannabe-actors cavorting about naked and semi-naked and engaging in the most lewd behavior. Is that entertainment? I don’t think so.
There is another option that you could add to the list above – sleep. It would be far more beneficial.
Just to let you know – yes, I have watched snippets of this garbage. I suffered through several short segments just to see what so many other people were so enamoured with.
So for all those people who have been mesmerized by this assault on our intelligence, might I suggest this alternative:
Go to your local bookstore and purchase a copy of “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. Next time you get the urge to watch such turgid rubbish read a chapter of this wonderful book. It will put you streets ahead of the voyeurs.
